Our Process

Preliminaries.

• There is no cost and no obligation for the preliminaries

• Firstly, we'll talk about your project

• All going well, we will meet on-site and discuss your project vision, opportunities, challenges and broad costs. 

Design Phase.

• Initial design concept developed and then reviewed with you.

• Initial design concept modelled using either NatHERS or Passivhaus methodologies

• Design further developed, refined and optimized for energy efficiency in a collaborative process with you, until you are happy with the balance of design, energy efficiency and potential costs

• Planning Permit Documentation and Submission (if required)

Technical Phase.

• Detailed technical plans and details drawn up for construction

• Final energy efficiency modellilng & certification (NatHERS and optionally Passivhaus)

• Coordination of other consultants & products as required (land survey, soil testing, engineering, etc)

• Building Permit documentation and submission (if required)

Construction Phase

• We can administer the building contract, and be your representative on site to monitor quality and construction progress.
